Mystery Shipyard Workers

Spread the love

The photo below was on ebay and I was wondering if anyone recognizes any of these hardworking men (and young man and Dog). This would be from one of the Newburgh Shipyards from around perhaps 1910 +\- 10 years. My great-grandfather worked there as I am sure many others who were here then.

The only name on the back is Frank O. Lundberg, 79 Carson Ave. I checked and Frank Oscar Lundberg was born in Sweden about 1860, came to the US in 1879, and in the early 1900s worked in the shipyards here so he was a worker and perhaps this was his copy and everyone got one.
